I (April) rarely gunsmith, for now…I'm usually teaching classes…or out on the range!

(It's a “DIRTY JOB,” But somebody's gotta do it)! LOL I LOVE my job!!!

I (April) am PROUD to be offering Irwin Carmichael's " SUCCESSS FOR SAFETY " Self Defense Classes, beginning in MAY!   (Irwin works with the Mecklenburg Co. Sheriff's Dept, and is the self defense instructor for the officers and the department).  Irwin also owns and operates numerous Martial Art Studios in the Charlotte area.  www.mati.com .    I completed the certification process in April, and I am excited to say that I am the only instructor authorized to teach the classes, other than Mr. Carmichael.....As many of you know, I have a personal connection with the class, because it is the class that I took years ago that help me survive an attack by 2 men in a parking lot. (I tell about the encounter in every CCH class).  I will be offering a FREE kids "Success for Safety" class, as well as a class geared for women, "Success for Safety" for women, or aka,  " W omen's A wareness R esponse.  I will also offer a Success for Safety class that will be open, and pertain to teens and adults, male and female.  This class is a great addition to the CCH class.  It is also a great introduction to personal protection, if you are not interested or not ready to carry a firearm.  Not only does it teach you how to physically defend yourself when attacked, but it offers a ton of information concerning awareness, your surroundings in general, at work, in parking lots, out and about, and at home.  More details coming soon!  I have posted the dates on the Upcoming Classes page.  The first class will be on Tuesday, May 26th, @ Bass Pro Shops.  I will be offering classes at the MATI studios, around the Charlotte area, as well.
